I'm Joel - husband, father, believer, and lifelong tech nerd with a background in software development, mobile devices, and quality assurance. My love for gadgets eventually collided with a brand-new 3D printer, and the 3D Printing Nerd was born.

What started as a personal channel to show off cool prints has grown into one of the most trusted online destinations for 3D printer reviews, hands-on tutorials, and honest industry coverage - from desktop hobbyist machines all the way to industrial additive manufacturing at events like Formnext.
